This achievement reflects genuine teamwork. Our thanks go to Denbighshire County Council, Ruthin Town Council, the trustees of the Clock Tower, Pegw Architects and everyone who supported the project from day one. Thanks to the RMBC team and the skilled subcontractors whose craft and commitment shone through at every stage.
Ruthin Clock Tower is one of Ruthin’s most recognisable landmarks and, prior to conservation, it presented a series of complex challenges — hidden conditions, delicate fabric, and the constant need to balance precision with sensitivity. But those complexities made the project even more rewarding. Each careful repair was an act of respect for the building and for the community it serves.
We also extend heartfelt thanks to the funders and sponsors who backed the scheme. Their belief in the value of Ruthin’s heritage helped bring this chapter to life.
