It’s a reminder that what happens above the nave is just the tip of the iceberg — where collaboration, craft and careful planning work together to protect this remarkable building.
That same attention to process runs through all our work. Alongside accreditations and memberships with The Stone Federation, Constructionline and CHAS, we also hold full accreditation to SQMAS — the Supplier Quality Management Audit Scheme.
For us, it isn’t just a box-ticking exercise; it actively feeds into the way we plan, manage and deliver work on site. And, in spite of the so-called mundanity of what it takes to organise the complex conservation of buildings, what truly underpins it all is our respect for the sanctity of each and every building we work on.
