After more than four decades of working in historic building conservation — a team from R M B Conservation is now taking on a very different kind of challenge. On 5 July, they will be tackling the Original Fan Dance Race: a 24km route once used in the legendary SAS selection process, staged across the rugged heights of Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons.
The Fan Dance is a 24km endurance march across Pen y Fan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons. It’s part of the SAS selection route and involves tough ascents, rocky terrain, and unpredictable weather.
